It enjoys the reputation of being perhaps the only institute being run by a municipal corporation to prepare the aspiring youth to enter the civil services. The Institute has today become synonymous with good training and resolve. In the 37 years of its proud existence, the Institute has been giving the country several ace and efficient officers who are now working in different services of the Central and State governments in various parts of the country. The Institute distinguishes itself from all other private coaching institutes in many aspects. Firstly, being a government- run organization, it provides guidance and other facilities free of cost to its students.
