Jimmy Sheirgill is an Indian actor and film producer whose birth name is Jasjit Singh Gill. He was born on December 3, 1970, in the Indian village of Deokahia, which is in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Gulzar's movie Maachis, which came out in 1996, was Sheirgill's first role. He became known and got good reviews for his role in the movie as a Sikh militant. Since then, he has been in a lot of Hindi and Punjabi films, making him a well-known actor who can do a lot of different things and is known for giving intense performances.
Mohabbatein (2000), Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai (2002), Haasil (2003), Yahaan (2005), A Wednesday! (2008), Tanu Weds Manu (2011), and Tanu Weds Manu Returns (2015) are all films that Jimmy Sheirgill is known for.
