Carl Melegari was born in North Wales of Italian parentage, he currently lives in Bristol.
His contemporary approach to painting explores both the human form and the urban landscape. primarily focusing on the semi-abstraction within the figure and becoming increasingly fascinated by the versatility of oil paint. Often working from life and models, Carl explores how the physicality of the paint combined with the density of pigment can give a sense of life radiating from the canvas: as if to evoke the vigour of the human form. His approach to painting explores the treatment and handling of paint whilst conveying expressionistic nudes and landscapes.
His paintings arguably focus just as much on the medium of paint, and how it reacts with the surface, as they do on the subject of the painting. Through the veils of layers, achieved by continuously accumulating and scraping back the paint, a figure emerges as if to suggest how the sitter itself has become enveloped and partly obscured by the energy of the paint.

As the golden era of action movies wound down in the late 1990s, Weathers became a consistent figure on the big and small screen, including a well-regarded comedic turn in 1996's Happy Gilmore.Adam Sandler, who played that film's title role, wrote on Instagram that Weathers was “smart as hell. Loyal as hell. Funny as hell. Loved his sons more than anything. What a guy!! Everyone loved him.”
Weathers was introduced to a new generation of fans in 2019, when he joined the Star Wars world in Disney+ series The Mandalorian. As a character named Greef Karga, he was nominated for an outstanding guest actor in a drama series Emmy in 2021.

Carl Au (born 24 March 1987) is a British actor, dancer, and singer. Having begun his career aged eleven, he appeared in multiple musical productions, before receiving a scholarship at Arts Educational Schools, London, to study acting and musical theatre. While attending the school, he was invited to feature in the Barbara Cook and Friends charity gala show, organised for Barbara Cook's eightieth birthday, and was awarded The Stephen Sondheim Society Prize for Student Performer of the Year, making him the inaugural recipient.[4] After graduating, Au returned to stage productions, primarily in the West End of London.
He was cast in the BBC drama Waterloo Road in 2012 as troublesome student Barry Barry, marking his first television credit. He left the series over a year later and experienced guest roles in television series. Since then, he has experienced roles in plays Bright Phoenix, Ostrich Boys, and High Fidelity, as well as being cast in a lead role in the 2017–2018 touring production of Cilla The Musical.
