Delnaaz Irani reveals she ‘manifested her own Mannat’

Who among us does not wish for a home like Shah Rukh Khan’s Mannat and popular television actress Delnaaz Irani is no exception.

Refreshing your memory, the actress played a small role in Shah Rukh Khan, Preity Zinta, and Saif Ali Khan’s ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’.

Delnaaz Irani is elated about the fact that she now has her own Mannat.

Yes, you read it right! For those who do not know, she will shortly be seen as Harneet in her forthcoming show ‘Mannat’.

The drama is scheduled to premiere on Colors on January 6.

Talking about the name of the show, Delnaaz Irani revealed that the first thing she was reminded of was Shah Rukh’s house.

She added that she manifested her own Mannat.

Delnaaz Irani, who has appeared in shows like Kabhie Kabhie Ittefaq Se, Yes Boss, and Shararat, among others, has been in the industry for over thirty years now. She revealed that every little experience, the double shifts, or the different platforms she worked on, has contributed to making her who she is today.
She said, “Over the years, I’ve gained a lot of experience, which has made my work much simpler. Working across different mediums has taught me how to switch on and off between characters seamlessly. This ability has developed over time through practice.”

Delnaaz Irani has shared screen space with Shah Rukh in Kal Ho Naa ho, RaOne and Bhoothnath and said that there is so much to learn from Shah Rukh Khan. “I have just warm memories of him. He is so wonderful as a human being and an actor. You learn so much from him when he is on the sets. Most importantly one can learn discipline from his conduct. One can learn so many small nuisances as an actor, his craft is so spectacular that you keep looking at him,” she said.

Delnaaz mentioned that the best quality about SRK is that he likes to keep the unit together and maintains a “pleasant atmosphere on set”. “He ensures smooth functioning on the sets of all his projects. He is very loving and very caring and that’s what one can take away while working with him. You just need to observe him and you’ll learn so many things from him,” she said.
