Gorden Tallis is one of Queensland rugby league’s toughest and most inspirational products. Townsville-born Gorden Tallis joined the Brisbane Broncos in 1997, after a 4 year stint with St. George. Labelled the “Raging Bull” because of his fearless, no-holds-barred style of forward play, Tallis played 8 seasons for Brisbane, winning three premierships.

His outstanding and dominant display in the 1998 NRL Grand Final victory over the Bulldogs saw him awarded the Clive Churchill Medal, after being voted the man-of-the-match. He has captained the Brisbane Broncos, Qld State of Origin, and Australian Kangaroo Tours

Biography

Hard-running forward came to St George from Townsville in 1992. A reserve in St George’s grand final loss to Brisbane in 1993 Tallis was used to good effect off the interchange bench during the 1994 season and represented Queensland in the final two State of Origin matches.
