Sriram started learning music at an early age of 6 under
Vid. Sumathi Raghunandan. Music has been an integral part of this young champ. Currently he is pursuing Indian Classical Music Under the able guidance of Vid.Meenakshi Ravi and Vid.Madhu Kashyap. He is also pursuing Drums under Vid.Sukumar babu,Vid.Arun Kumar, Percussions under Pramath Kiran,Indian Rhythms under Vid.T.N. Shashi Kumar.

As a singer, Sriram has been winning awards for excellence and
performing at competitions all through his childhood. He has given Music
therapies to foreign audience under the guidance of his guru-Vid.Meenakshi
Ravi. Sriram has rendered his voice for many Musical Plays,Animation Movies,
And a diverse range of Characters from Vedic roles to Normal life.He has
performed at India's No.1 Fest-Mood Indigo hosted by IIT Mumbai, Kerala,Hydrabad,Pune, And various other venues within the state with various bands, DJ's and solos. He has performed and been a part of summer camps for corporatesincluding Mindtree , Mphasis, etc.He also sang a theme song for SandalwoodMusic Director-V.Ma

A faculty member at The Music Academy’s Advanced School of Carnatic Music, there is a lot more to Dr. G Baby Sreeram than meets the eye. Augmented only periodically with expert guidance, her trajectory has been unconventional, with a large part of her learning from publicly available resources.

She grew up in a large, orthodox brahmin joint family in Trivandrum where the children alone numbered 11. Music was enmeshed in the fabric of the family’s life with practically every family member attuned to it and all local concerts attended. They were not well off. As she puts it, “Our family had music. But nothing else.” Her paternal grandfather, Bhagavathiswara Bhagavathar, and his ancestors, had been vidvAn-s at the Travancore court while her maternal grandfather had been a palace cook. SRIRAM PARASURAM, one of India’s leading musicians today, hails from a family steeped in musical tradition. He started learning the violin at the age of 4 and as a child prodigy he gave his first public performance at the age of 8. Since then he has given well over 3000 violin solo concerts all over the world.

He is also one of India’s topmost accompanists having accompanied all leading vocalists of the current as well as the previous generation. His mother Smt. Parvathy Parasuram is his primary Guru. Sriram has also trained under stalwarts such as Sangeetha Kalanidhi Sri K.S.
