Christopher Patrick Simpson (born 9 January 1982) is a former Australian cricketer who captainedQueensland from 2007 to 2010 and has been chairman of Queensland Cricket since July 2019.[1] He was a right-arm offbreak bowler and right-handed batsman.

Biography
CHRIS SIMPSON Born in 1952 in Zurich, raised in Africa and Mauritius. His unique way of seeing was influenced by the exoticism of the natural world around him. Simpson’s photographs, with their clean lines and uncluttered compositions, exemplify his innate understanding of the simplicity of natural beauty and form.
Educated in the UK and trained at art school in London in the early 1970s, his internship at Vogue Studios with David Bailey, Clive Arrowsmith and Olivero Toscani convinced him that his initial path was fashion.
He spent the next 20 years as a fashion photographer, living in both Paris and London. In the late 1980s, he was shooting high-profile advertising campaigns for British Airways, Mercedes-Benz, Bacardi Rum, Stella Artois and the Australian Tourist Board, taking time off between commissions to shoot pictures for himself.

Chris (Simpsons artist) is a pseudonymous cartoonist known for his comedic and deliberately childlike caricatures and stream-of-consciousness writing.[1]
Early life
Chris was born in England, where he spent his childhood before moving to Scotland.
Career
Chris has stated that he was first inspired to draw characters from The Simpsons when he was five, around the time the show first went to air.[2] He still caricatures fictional characters such as the cast of The Simpsons, and signs each of his comments with the qualifier "(Simpsons artist)". He is also known for caricaturing real people currently at the centre of the media's attention at that time, such as Prince William and Kate Middleton at the time of their wedding. He incurred controversy in May 2011 when he posted a caricature of Osama bin Laden.[3]
